Bearing is a popular and entertaining Aussie You Tuber with over 400 thousand subscribers. This Youube star, lovingly referred to as "Bearing," makes videos which cover socio-cultural topics, feminism, social justice, and politics. His videos feature a good bit of biting satire and hysterical commentary.  He's also known for being the world's biggest cunt ... errrr ... we mean he wrote a song, called "The World's Biggest Cunt" ...because he's also a musician.

Bearing discusses his channel and how it has developed over time. We also get an insight into Bearings successful professional life before his You Tube success. Bearing explains how Sargon of Akkad was one You Tube creator that inspired him to create his channel originally. If you love Bearing’s content, you will love this interview.

YouTube in Atheism, Minibosses, and Take Down Videos w/ Declan Black

Untitled design.png

YouTube creator Declan Black joins us on the Mythinformed podcast to discuss everything from take down videos on YouTube to the role of YouTubers in Atheism. We were first introduced to Declan's channel leading up to #Mythcon IV. Declan was firmly against the de-platforming campaign that was taking place to try and force us to remove some of our speakers. He dedicated many videos to this subject and was criticizing those that were involved with promoting the campaign.

Declan takes us through why he started his channel and why he focuses on social justice instead of atheism. Declan was aware of the atheist community, but was drawn to the YouTube community instead. Although he still considers himself an atheist he feels that the social justice community is much more important to focus on at the moment. Declan's channel is growing very quickly and his videos are getting more and more attention. Make sure to check him out and subscribe here. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCjYIwOnxkACYwhNGBWnEOzw
